This is not an April fools joke! It's a big moment for me, Broke Skin is going to top40 radio today. It's part of iHeart Radio's "Future Star" program in which Canadian artists submit their songs, and then the company votes on which song gets the slot. And it just so happens that "Broke Skin" won the slot of the next 2 months.

Look, I'm not a huge radio guy in this digital streaming era, but it's the first time in my career that I've had my own song rotating on radio, especially top 40. So it feels incredibly special, and a huge stepping stone.

So, if you hear it on the radio and like the song, feel free to call into the station and let them know! That helps it stay in the rotation.

Lots more music to come this year but that's the first update. I'm leaving for Ottawa today to do some showcases at Corus Entertainment and HOT 89.9. Lots on the go.
