At a crossroads...

I'm writing this on the train from Liverpool to Manchester airport. I've been in the UK for the last 2 weeks, travelling and performing in festivals and small showcases around Liverpool. It's been incredible to connect with people from all over the world and share my music in intimate and lively settings. If you've ever been to Liverpool, you know that they are a truly honest bunch. If they don't like something, you'll know. But the response has been amazing and extremely encouraging.

It's been an exciting week for some other reasons as well. My debut EP called "CROSSROADS" is going live to all streaming platforms on Friday May 9th! The pre-save link is here:

Another exciting development is that my 2nd single "Broke Skin" has been climbing the charts here in Canada, and is now officially in the 25th spot this week (just below Billie Eilish).

The dream has always been to share my music with as many people as possible and it's really cool to see that slowly happening.

Like everything in life, being an artist has its ups and downs. You're constantly checking in to make sure the ship isn't sinking. That being said, I've realized how important it is to celebrate every win, despite how small or big. Because Lord knows you just don't know what's around the corner, for better or worse.

Finally, May 9th I'll also be performing in Toronto at Departure (formally Canadian Music Week) at the Painted Lady on Ossington at 10pm. It's a great lineup, and I'm very excited to be closing the night out with my friends Saveria and Eleanor singing alongside me!

As always, thank you for your love and support. It takes a village.

Lots of love <3

John
